Pixel Art - 8-bit, Game Boy-style LVGL UI for ESPHome
Pixel Art is an 8-bit, Game Boy-style design pack for ESPHome LVGL: 4-colour DMG-green palettes, chunky pixel borders, RPG-style battle and dialog screens, score HUDs, and classic handheld game UI patterns. Every screen is a visual LVGL design you drop onto the canvas and export as plain ESPHome YAML - then recolour, resize, and bind to your own ESP32 sensors and Home Assistant entities.
The look is built for small, low-resolution displays where a flat, high-contrast pixel aesthetic reads beautifully - round GC9A01 watches, tiny square panels, and budget ESP32 screens. It leans on bitmap-style fonts and hard-edged shapes instead of gradients, so it stays crisp at low DPI.
The pack includes a complete, flashable example: a Game Boy-style Home Assistant weather station (live temperature, condition, and 3-day forecast) for a 720×720 panel. Use it as a reference for wiring HA data into a pixel UI, or as a starting point you reskin for your own device.
